Currently the federal government offers a 30% tax credit for solar PV systems. For further details and many more incentive programs visit dsireusa.org
Easily one of the most appealing aspects of solar power is the ability to work your electricity bill down to zero. In most cases, the owner is still delivered power through their provider, and pumps power back into the grid. Credited with their production, the owner is left with a smaller net amount owed, or even a surplus.
Washington State Solar incentives
Washington State offers a solar production incentive of up to 50% of the total solar system cost. The incentive is based on kilowatts produced per year, which is calculated and recorded by a production meter installed by Ellensburg Solar.
